In late October 2016, I embarked on a missions trip to Cap-Haïtien, Haiti that would change my life. I did not know why God lead me there until the last day of the trip when I met a man named Jaquelin. Jaquelin asked if anyone would like to pray over thirty elderly individuals whom are in his care. Many of those he cares for have no family and lack basic needs like food and medicine. It was after I prayed over this group of wonderful people did I finally realize why I was on the trip. I left Haiti with a new purpose and hope in life. I didn't know what I could do to help but I knew I had to do something. I prayed long and hard for God to point me in the right direction and Living for Hope ministries was born.
